Canada is known for some pretty good beers and Kokanee is no exeption. Its light golden nectar is very flavorsome and packs a 5.0% alcohol volume. Named after the Sockeye Salmon the beer is made from glacier fresh water at the Columbia Brewery in Creston, British Columbia, which has been owned by Labatt since 1974, their beers date back to 1898 and is pretty much the most popular beer in Western Canada. The beer can be found oustide Canada and is fairly distinctive in the fridge with a white and blue lable feauturing Grays Peak with the infamous Sasquatch ontop of the peak. Kokanee have one of the flashest beer websites we have seen for a while www.kokaneebeer.ca – well worth checking out.
