Beach Bum, back again for summer

Beach Bum Blond Ale is a seasonal beer from the US brewing giant Anheuser Busch. It was introduced again mid May and will only be available for a the summer period. Being an American Blonde Ale the beer has a slightly hp note and malty flavor and uses a combination of Cascade Hops which come from the Pacific Northwest and German Alsace and Hallertau hops. The beer uses a special dry hopping brewing technique where hops are added to the beer in the aging tank instead of in the brew kettle. This helps give the beer its unique hoppy flavor. The beer has the taste of summer and is a perfect accompanist to bbq, salads and fresh fish, just perfect for this time of the year, in the US anyway. .The beer won an award at the North American Beer awards picking up bronze in the blonde ale category In 2006, so there’s no wonder it has been brought back to market for the summer.
