Well 2008 would have to be the year of beer with lime- so many new products have entered the market, and now here’s another Bud Light Lime. The huge US Anheuser Busch Cos has just launched a 35 million dollar advertising campaign to promote their newest stablemate- Bud Light Lime. Some of the big brewers are having a little bit competition from the huge increase in boutique beers in recent times, so they have started producing some pretty interesting beers to attract customers wanting to try something different. The new Bud Light Lime is a premium priced product and costs about a dollar more than the regular Bud Light for a six pack in bottleshops, but if the first few weeks of sales are any indication customers are more than happy to pay a bit extra for something different. Anheuser Busch are so confident US beer drinkers are going to enjoy the new beer they didn’t bother introducing the beer to a test market like they usually do, they introduced it to the whole of the USA.
