With the popularity of boutique beers around the world at the moment many of the big popular brands are trying different beers into new markets and Grolsch is no exception. They some markets around the world are not only getting the Grolsch we love but a tasty Blonde variety and this one the Grolsch Amber Ale. Called a Altbier which has a distinct reddish look this beer has a complex aroma and flavor. There are strong hints of roasted nuts and grains end you can even taste dried fruits. The beer is 5.3% alcohol vol and has a really nice creamy head. The beer is doing good business in the USA with the younger drinkers really taking to this drop making the company one of the fastest growing imported brands in the country. If Grolsch Amber Ale has been launched where you live, its well worth the price to try this tasty beer, and if it’s not it will be worth the wait.
