We have found something awful here its a ad for Green Sands Shandy and from what we can find out is a Bintang product which is a low alcohol beer laced with lime. But it’s not the beer you need to experience its the dreadful 1980′s French ad we have for you today. It is so bad, you will want to play it again. It’s got all the 80′s French erotica stereotypes and a soundtrack to match, with plenty of pastel colours, neon and over tanned, over oiled bodies. It’s enough to make you want a beer!

With a name like Desperados and being a Tequila flavoured beer you would expect this is a drop from Mexico but no its from the land of cheese and onions France. The tequila gives the beer quiet a kick although the alcohol level is 5.9% you can really feel the heat from the spirit. The beer is quiet refreshing expecially that little bit colder than usual, its a full bodied larger and a lovely golden colour. Like the Mexican beers a slice of lemon or lime really brings out a refreshing flavor. Look for it next time you go beer shopping you won’t be dissapointed!

Well the French arent’ just a bunch of onion and cheese and frog eating people who only drink wine.. they love beer too! And they have exported one of their finest to the four corners of the world for your drinking pleasure- 1664 Kronenbourg. This tasty drop. It is the biggest selling beer in France and is making huge inroads in many parts of the world including England where it is staring down the no 1 position, being the no 2 biggest selling larger in the UK. The secret to the fresh clean taste is the unique blend of hops which include some special ones from Alsace which is close to Strasbourg.

As the name suggests the Kronenbourg beer dates back to 1664 when an Alsatian brewery was founded in Strasbourg France. The brewery continued and changed location due to flooding and After the Second World War the Kronenbourg brewery started to expand and sell its products globally and is now one recognised for selling one of the world’s premium beer products. Although it is now owned by Scottish and Newcastle the 1664 larger has over 40% of the French beer market and is doing quiet well world wide and brewed also outside of France. The beer has a 5.0% alcohol by volume and has a malty and nutty taste. If you are ever in Strasbourg make sure you visit the brewery for the tour of its facilities.
