Tasty beer scones
By Rocky | December 27, 2007

A high English Tea would not be complete without a batch of freshly prepared scones, and there’s no tastier a scone than a fresh beer scone, filled with whipped cream and delicious strawberry jam. This recipe is so easy and you can have the scones in your tummy about 15 minutes from starting.
All you need is 3 cups of self raising flour, 1 cup of cream, 1 cup of your favorite beer and some whipped cream and strawberry jam. All you do is preheat your oven to 220 degrees C and mix the ingredients together break into scone size pieces then pop then in the oven for about 12-15 minutes. Then spread the on the cream and strawberry jam and start eating- delicious. For interesting flavors try different beers, dark beers like stout or dark ale ad a tasty rich flavour.
