
Well we hope you tried and ejoyed our Beer Ice Cream recipe the other week. This week its something a bit more traditional- Steak and Ale Pie, and believe me its delicious and very easy to prepare. This recipie will make 4 personal pies.
750 g diced stewing steak, 2 chopped onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 cans of good quality ale, 4 sheets of pie pastry, 4 sheets of puff pastry, salt, peper and a splash of oil. Beaten Egg
In a pan heat the oil and garlic, braise the steak until brown, add the onion, seasoning and then beer. Stew until meat tender. Preheat oven, grease pie pan, put in pastry followed by pie mix and puff pastry on top, brush with beaten egg and cook until golden. Serve hot or cold with a beer.
