Fancy a Grolsch

When we think of Dutch beers we usually think of Heineken a very tasty drop indeed, but poor old Grolsch is just as good and has been very drinkable since 1615. The Grolch bottle would have to be one of the most recognisable bottles in the world with its swing top cap which it calls the Beugel. When researching this beer I came across a weird fact, remember the English pop group Bros, they were around late 1980′s with ‘unforgettable’ songs like Drop the Boy and When will I be famous, well these guys were a bit weird, one of them got engaged to Dannii Minogue, and they wore Grolsch pop tops on their shoes. Maybe the good old beer goggles caused the short lived engagement- who knows?
