Storm in a beer bottle

A few days ago our story was on a beer found at the discount supermarket chain Aldi, well we have another one. This one is called Storm Light, it is a premium larger but low in alcohol and a great alternative to the big brand name light beers on the market and at a fraction of the cost.  This beer like many of the beers on sale in Aldi stores in Australia is brewed in New Zealand. The beer has full flavor and a slight hoppy taste- quiet a good beer and great value. Look out for it in your local Aldi.

Tried it today for the first time and very impressed, will continue drinking it. Previously I was buying another NZ beer (Shipstones Crew) a full brew, which is very good. But now under Drs orders to drink light beer. Both bought from Aldi.

After drinking quality lights like boags and cascade ,storm light has no flavour . It should be called extra light . Total rubbish no matter what it costs .

I drink nothing but storm light.Best beer i have tasted and at the right price. When i was younger (now 57) i used to drink 52 long necks of melb bitter a week on my own.Times have changed and i love the taste of storm light.I would drink about one slab over a period of 1 week.Perfect beer when chilled on ice. TOP BEER KIWIS.

I am a recent “Storm Light” convert and as a pensioner appreciate the cost savings when compared to simular products.
    I have two questions :-

    (1) Can an ingredient be added so the beer displays and retains a frothy head ?
At present, within a minute of pouring the beer it looks uninvitingly flat in the glass.

    (2) Can “Storm Light” be made in cans ?
Cans are so much lighter to handle for all concerned.

Thanks for making this beer available in Australia.

    Yours truly,
    John Crowe.

    G’day folks,
Storm Light is a good all-round light beer. Perhaps not quite up with the Clipper Light or Cascade Premium Light but at $20, or thereabouts, a slab who’s to complain. For campers it would be more handy in cans.
    Regards,
    Pete.
