Hi Wattsy + Alicia,

I bought the Beer Tender from ebay for 250 usd including shipping. As I purchased it from the US, the voltage on the machine is 120v and australian wall sockets are 240v. I then had to buy a transformer from Dick Smiths for $158.

The Beer Tubes work fine on Australian kegs but dont seem to be re-usable. Once you clip them onto the keg they are impossbile to take out. Now I may have to also import a large batch of tubes. Oh the pain..

@ Charbel. It seems odd but that seems to be the feedback we are getting here. Perhaps it just requires replacing the US beer tubes with the ones from your local AU krups dealer. Let us know how you get on.

Hi there it has "Tubes" that attach to the same 5l kegs on sale at any Liquer outlet in Melbourne. Have a look on ebay if you got one without then come in packs of 10 from Heinken. Im trying to get one of these but no one stock in Australia and not cheap to import either.

krups.comLooking at the instructions I assumed you don't use the nozzle supplied with the keg but a beer tube supplied with the Krups unit.
Seems odd why they would produce two different types of kegs seeing they make this machine.

manual available from below

Sorry wattsy, but you are wrong the Kegs are identical but the pouring nozzles are not.
I have been adviced that we may get them sometime in the future they have been introduced in the USA last November.
And yes they do fit but you can't use them inside the unit.

It uses the standard Heineken draught kegs you will find in safeway or liquorland. You can see how it fits in the extra pics on the product link above
