Bought two cases from Dan Murphys's @ 29.90 each, so the price was right.

Ploughed through the first, was enjoyable for the first six or so then it got malty and was like thickened soda water.

Second case, realised that this beer has got to be consumed freezing cold, otherwise it's harsh on the gut in spite of the low carbs.

Can see why it was reduced. Drown a couple, then it's hard to swallow. If low-carb is your cheddar, there's better on the market.

@ Pete. We have had the blonde from Aldi too. It's not the Carlton product above. By the way, I think most of Aldi's products are their own brand names they get other companies to make for them.

I've just had a stubby of Natural Blonde purchased from Aldi. It says on the bottle that it was brewed by Cape Cyan. Does this brewery exist, or is it from another brewer with a different label?

Hi , I have been drinking Pure Blondes for about 3 years , and was always a West End Draught man from the old school by the way im 48. I have just switched to Natural Blonde say the last 4 cartons and its a great!!!!!!!! tasting beer. Only trouble is now, is the bloody MRS is knocking them off. Any chance of different packaging say that horrible COOPERS look!!!!!!!!so no one for that matter would drink them . It's a great tasting Beer , even better by just chucking a 6 pack in the freezer to nip it up a bit, and leaving the nice two bubbles in the echoe when it s empty!!!

Personally, I find it a weak beer. It's another fizzy, flavourless blonde. also, the 'natural' part is codswallop, VB is all natural - most beers are...

Foster's have tried to give it a real beer taste by infusing it with hop oil. This works for the first two seconds but once the hop oil taste has left, you're left with a fizzy, weak tasting beer.

I wish they'd let the brewers make the beers they want to make rather than making them brew beers that their marketing types think will fill a marke niche.

Hi, Can you please tell me the Carbohydrate ratio in the Natural Blonde Beer. Can you tell me if it is less Carb than what is stated for the "Pure Blonde" Beer. ??? I am 61 years old and have just discovered Beer !!!!! BUT I am also a lifelong weight watcher and I am keen to try these new beers that are low in Carb.

Await your reply with interest.
Thanks,
Shirley.
