Tiger Beer is one of Asia’s major beers. Brewing started in Malaysia in 1931 with a joint venture between Dutch Heineken and Fraser Neave brewers. The brewer now called Asia Pacific Breweries controls 32 breweries througout 11 asian countries which include over 40 brands of beer. Heineken still today are the controlling shareholder.
The Tiger Beer itself is the most popular of the breweires products and is found all around the world. The light pale larger is brewed in 7 countries around the world and is easily recognisable with its striking tiger logo. The beer itself is quiet refreshing, it has a fairly foamy head with a mild hoppy taste similar to many of the Asian pilsiner or lager style beers.
