A tasty drop from Vietnam

Hue Beer is made by the partly Carlsberg owned Hue Brewery in Vietnam at Hue on the banks of the magnificent Perfumed River and is one of the more popular beers in Vietnam. The beer is available in several countries outside Vietnam and is now even sold in the USA after nearly 30 years of trade embargoes. Hue Beer Company is doing quiet well and is currently building a new beer factory with a capacity of 50 million litres per annum in Phu Bai Industrial Zone as well as another facility capable of 30 million litres per year at the Dong Ha-Huda joint venture in Quang Tri Province. The whole Vietnamese beer market is actually making huge growth, with the industry nearly doubling in the last 10 years, now the country’s total yearly production is nearly 1.5 billion litres of the golden brew
