Thai-rific Singha

There is no better accompaniment to a Pad Thai noodle dish than a refreshing bottle of ice cold Singha. Its rich barley malt flavor and strong hops character make it the world’s most popular Thai beer. The beer is easily identified in any bottleshop with the lovely golden Thai lion on the label. Singha dates back to the 1930’s and today is still owned by the Bhirom Bhakdi family who are in the 4th Generation of ownership. They have 3 breweries and 6 factories in Thailand, which includes the country’s largest brewery. Singha is exported to nearly 40 countries and is huge in the UK where it has been available since 1976. Recently the brewery has started producing a Singha Light which has a 3.5% alcohol content.
