Today being Christmas, we take a look a special brew by Chicago based brewery Goose Island. Every year Goose Island whip up a special batch of their Christmas Ale while changing the recipe slightly. This brown ale is a 6.2% beer with a chocolate color that will develop in the bottle for up to 5 years. Their 2010 batch won a bronze medal at the world beer cup. Here at Hoppsy were are giving Goose Island a 5 out of 5 mince pies award for coming up with a fantasic alternative to socks for christmas.
