I have not tried this. We cannot get it here. Honestly I am a little surprised it even exists. When I think Michelob I do not think decent beer to be honest, I have always lumped them in with the Miller lights, Buds, and other generic american lagers (normally that is all I see for American beer at the LCBO, the provincial liquor store in Ontario, other than a couple of microbrews). So I would love to try this sometime and see how it is. I am still skeptical though. I really love weisse dunkel style beer and have had a lot of German varieties here and in Germany. I do worry this would pale in comparision because in my experience the specialty offerings of many of the large companies fail miserably.

I really don't know what's wrong with all of you who hated this beer. Even if the taste is nothing like any of the Miller Lite and crap that you probably drink, to say that it's undrinkable and that you can't even give it away it borders on mental retardation. You're probably the same people who only eat chicken fingers and french fries and other "American" food, and think that everything else is for faggots.
All that aside, it was an interesting beer. They use mostly wheat malt with a little toasted barley malt for the dark color, and there's a special yeast strain that produces the banana/clove esters that these beers are known for. I'm trying to find a good clone brew recipe right now cause I think it'll be a fun beer to try and recreate at home. I'm gonna make mine at least 7-8% alcohol though!

Ok... I love beer and often like to try something new. I'm not much of a light beer drinker. I enjoy dark, heavy, full bodied brews. So when I picked up a sixer of this stuff I was excited. After all... I'm a long time fan of Michelob lager and I love the new Porter. I have to say this is the worst beer I have ever tasted. The pour was fine... nice head yet fruity strange aroma. No worries! Now for the first sip... a strange fruity taste with a terrible after taste that hits you a split second after the swallow. Needless to say It never got any better even with a second try. I bought this crap in March and I still have the rest in my bar fridge. I try but just can't get anyone to drink it! No beer has ever lasted this long in my house, and that is why Michelob's "Dunkel Weisse" has to be the worst beer I've ever had.

This beer is pretty good. not a big fan of the wheat but not bad either way. not sure if chuck or robin have ever drank one of these but it tastes nothing like a pork product of any kind, or maybe they have never had pork..... either way good for what it is.

An awesome beer!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously Chuck and Robin prefer a bland light beer with no taste. I usually drink Newcastle Brown Ale, but switched to this for now. Great job Michelob. The different tastes are great for the taste buds. Gotta try Marzen now.

Don't listen to chuck, I have a decent amount of taste and experience when you it comes to beer, and I was surprised by how good this beer was. I wasn't expecting much, but it blew me away. Nice head, good nose, and it has a smokey flavor.

Don't waste your money on this undrinkable slop. I can't believe it made it on the market. It tastes like a hot dog.
