Cuba more than cigars
By Rocky | December 6, 2007
When you think of Cuba you think of Castro or Cuban Cigars but the small island country has an great range of beers and none more tasty than Cristal. Cristal is known as “La Preferida de Cuba” which translates to the preferred beer of Cuba and they have nearly 80% of the market with this brand. The lovely green bottles features the national tree of Cuba the royal palm and inside is a light hoppy 4.9% beer which is very refreshing in the Cuban sun. The beer is exported and can be found in some countries outside Cuba but with the US trade restrictions some places are unable to stock it.
